Counselor Appreciation Week- February 1 - 5
February 5, 2021
Good Morning School Without Walls Community,
Administration and the school community would like to share a shout out to SWW Counselors. In recognition of Counselor Appreciation Week, we would like to highlight the impact our counselors have in helping to advance student achievement and providing social emotional support to students.
According to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), "school counselors should help students form healthy goals, encourage students to practice perseverance, and support students in developing time management and study skills. Our counseling team continues to exceed the expectations of the national organization, and consistently demonstrate a commitment to supporting student academic and behavioral success."
Today we are asking students and the school community to send messages of appreciation to SWW grade level counselors. On behalf of administration we applaud their work, commitment, and collaboration with all stakeholders. Thank you SWW Counselors and Happy Counselor Appreciation Week!
