SWW 2021 Budget Restored

Dear School Without Walls Families,

Yesterday, we received formal notice from Chancellor Ferebee that DCPS will increase the proposed SWW budget by the full $332,673 requested, filling the gap to preserve faculty at current levels through FY2021.

Thanks to everyone who made contacts to help advocate for this result, including city leaders who responded and followed up on behalf of our community.

Also thanks again to the LSAT for their leadership, and to the administration for securing other approvals that had reduced the deficit from an even larger amount.
