Kids Ride Free Cards, Device Distribution, Wednesday Attendance

Good Evening Parents and Students,

1. The purpose of this email is to share Wednesday, September 16 from 10:00am - 2:00pm, students in Grades 9 - 10 can pick up Metro Kids Ride Free Cards from the office. As a result of the limited number of cards available, students in Grades 11 - 12 will be notified of a date to report to the high school to pick up a Metro Kids Ride Free Card. Please review the schedule for students in Grades 9 - 10 to report to the high school.

  • 10:30am - 12:30pm Students in Grade 9

  • 12:30pm - 2:30pm Students in Grade 10


2. Students who would like to request a laptop Eli device should email and schedule an appointment with Mr. Danny Ware at: Danny.Ware@k12.dc.gov. Mr. Ware will be available
to distribute laptop devices Wednesday, September 16.

3. This is a reminder to all students, please sign on to Canvas daily to ensure your attendance is documented. Students are also expected to enter attendance in Canvas on Wednesdays. Please communicate with Ms. Wanda Jones-Hinnant if you have attendance questions at:
